Course and aid
The course is a well-marked 6.5 mile loop on trails above Onion Creek. Each loop has about 640 feet of elevation gain and includes single track, some double track, rocky jeep road sections, creek-bed drops and climbs, and wooded sections. There are two main aid station supports: one at the race hub / start-finish area and one on course a little past the halfway point. Aid stations provide water, Tailwind, fruit, and grab-and-go snacks. The event is cupless; runners must bring their own cup or bottle.
Logistics, rules and extras
Drop bag locations are not provided on course; small bags may be left near the race hub. Chips are ankle-mounted and must be returned after exiting. Littering can lead to disqualification. Awards include Top 3 male, Top 3 female, and Top Masters (50 and older). Shirt order cutoff is February 10. The race supports the Great Springs Project and lists several sponsors.
