42nd Annual Great Pumpkin Race 5K
The Great Pumpkin Race 5K in Pensacola, Florida, begins at 12th Avenue and Moreno Street and winds through the scenic and historic East Hill neighborhood. The event attracts close to 1,200 participants each year. Proceeds benefit Sacred Heart Cathedral School and are used for capital improvements of the school's buildings and grounds.

Registration fees and categories vary by entry type. Individual and wheelchair registration is listed at $30. Team registration is listed at $25, with team member rates shown for Elementary and Middle School at $15, High School (ages 15 to 18) at $17.50, and Adult (ages 19 and up) at $20. Pumpkin Run shirts are popular and shirt sizes are not guaranteed after October 2, 2026. Team registration ends at 11:59 PM on Friday, January 8, 2027. Teams or additions registered after January 1, 2027 will not be able to pick up team packets prior to packet pick-up. All team packets must be picked up at one time by the Team Captain or a designated team member; team members may not pick up packets individually.
Overall male and female winners receive a $100 cash prize. The top three runners in each division receive Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals. All participants in the 1 mile Little Pumpkin Fun Run receive an "I did it!" participation ribbon.
