Great Falls 8k & 16k

The Great Falls 8k & 16k is scheduled for February 28, 2027, in Potomac, Maryland. The event is based at 11710 Macarthur Blvd, Potomac, MD 20854.

Both courses run alongside the Potomac River and use sections of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal (C&O Canal) path. For 2027 the route will run north on the C&O Canal path, which exposes participants to views and parts of the trail that may be new to them. The finish area provides access to nearby waterfalls that participants can view after the event.
