Event overview
The 2026 Great Country Farms 5k & 10k takes place on July 12, 2026 at Henway Hard Cider, 18780 Foggy Bottom Rd, Bluemont, VA. The event offers a virtual race option and accepts walkers. Points from this race count toward the year-long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series, and toward the Sippin Series. Registration fees listed are: 5k $35 until June 30, then $40; 10k $50 until June 30, then $55. Race morning registration is allowed and prices increase by $5 on race morning. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before July 1.

The course is an out-and-back on a dirt road within the Henway property and is described as basically flat. The 10k is the 5k out-and-back done twice. Water and Gatorade: one water station on the 5k at about mile 1.55; three water stations on the 10k at about miles 1.55, 3.1 and 4.65. Restrooms are located in the cidery. Packet pickup is available at the event; arriving about one hour before the race is recommended. Results are posted live on Athlinks and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Finishers receive one glass of cider from Henway Hard Cider, a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing.
