Great Bentley Half Marathon - 7 February 2027
The Great Bentley Half Marathon is a UKA measured road race covering 13.1 Miles near Great Bentley Village Hall, CO7 8LD. The course is described as flat and fast and the route is viewable on Garmin Connect. Chip timing is used and all finishers receive a medal.
Entry opens at mid-day on 17 October. Entry fees are £33 for members of a UKA affiliated athletics club and £35 for non-members. Online entries are limited to a maximum of 750 and there is no entry on the day. The minimum age for participants is 17 years.
The race is marshalled and includes water stations, first aid, baggage storage and provisions such as hot drinks, rolls and cakes. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs. For safety reasons music devices including bone conduction headphones are not permitted. A sweep cyclist will follow the last runner and the course begins to be dismantled three hours after the start.
Participants take part at their own risk and must confirm they have no medical condition that would endanger themselves or others. Places may be transferred via the Participant Dashboard in the confirmation email for a service charge; the deadline for changes or transfers is strictly mid-day on Saturday 23 January 2027.
