Graveyard 5K & Boo-gaw Trick or Treat Mile
The Graveyard 5K & Boo-gaw Trick or Treat Mile take place during the Burgaw Autumn Festival in Burgaw, North Carolina, with the start and finish at Burgaw Town Square.
The 5K is a timed course through Burgaw that uses the Osgood Canal Greenway and the Urban Trail and includes about one third of a mile through the Burgaw Cemetery, where graves date back to the 1860s. Participants may run or walk the course.
The Boo-gaw Trick or Treat Mile is a timed one-mile route around the town square that concludes with trick-or-treating through the festival. Festival vendors will offer treats for participants, and the mile is open to participants of all ages. Participants may run or walk this event.
The event partners with the Parks Foundation of Burgaw Splash Pad Project and is raising funds to build a splash pad at Bishop Rayford Hankins Memorial Park.

Parking is available at the Burgaw Town Hall lot, in front of the Historic Burgaw Train Depot, and at legal spaces along Freemont Street.
