Event
The Grasmere Wild Trail Runs take place on 28 March 2026 at The Showfield, Stock Lane, Grasmere, Cumbria, LA22 9SL. Trail runs are scheduled for Saturday, with Sprint and Standard duathlons on Sunday, 29 March 2026. Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North. The event is canicross friendly; one controlled dog per runner is allowed.

The 10 km route passes through parts of Grasmere Village, along Grasmere Water, along Rydal Water, and passes Rydal Caves at its peak. The 5 km route follows a lap of Grasmere Water. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a drink and snack. An exclusive event t-shirt is available to purchase for £12 when registering.
Entry and facilities
Registration opens 31/03/2025 and closes 24/03/2026. Entry fees listed are £28.00 + fee for the 10 km and £24.00 + fee for the 5 km. Limited on-site parking is available for £4; some competitors may need to use nearby public parking if the ground is wet or the car park is full.
