Event overview

The Grasmere Wild Trail Runs take place in Grasmere, Cumbria, on Saturday 28 March 2026, with duathlons held on Sunday 29 March 2026. The 10km route passes through parts of Grasmere Village, Grasmere Water, Rydal Water, and goes past Rydal Caves. The 5km route follows a lap of Grasmere Water. The event is canicross friendly; one controlled dog per runner is allowed.

Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a drink and snack. An event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12. On-site parking is limited and priced at £4; organisers note some competitors may need to use nearby public parking if the ground is wet or the car park is full.

Entry prices across the event range from about £25 to £30. Age limits given are 11 and over for the 5km and 15 and over for the 10km. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
