Grasmere Wild Trail Runs 2027
Grasmere Wild Trail Runs take place in March 2027 at Grasmere Lakeland Sports & Show, Stock Lane, Grasmere, Cumbria LA22 9SL. The event runs across a weekend with trail races on Saturday and duathlons on Sunday.

The courses follow lake and village scenery. The new half marathon route passes through Grasmere Village, alongside Grasmere Water, Rydal Water, past Rydal Caves, around Loughrigg Fell to Ambleside Park and returns to Rydal Water. The 10 km route includes sections of Grasmere Village, Grasmere Water and Rydal Water and passes Rydal Caves. The 5 km route follows a lap of Grasmere Water and is described by organisers as aimed at beginners.
The event is canicross friendly. One controlled dog per runner is allowed and dogs must be on a short lead at all times. There is a separate start for canicross runners.
Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, a drink and a snack. An exclusive event T-shirt is available to purchase for £14 during entry. Limited on-site parking is available for £4; organisers note some competitors may need to use nearby public parking if the ground is wet or the car park is full.
