Granville Island Turkey Trot 2026
The annual Granville Island Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving Monday, October 12, 2026, on Granville Island in Vancouver, British Columbia. The event is part of a local Thanksgiving tradition and brings together the running community while supporting local food banks.
The event supports the Run & Give program and benefits local food banks in Greater Vancouver, Surrey and SHARE Family and Community Services. Fundraising tied to the event has raised CA$2,674.47.
A 10 km race entry includes a race bib with timing chip, a race medal, the choice of an exclusive RUNVAN shirt or a green bib, a CA$25 discount at Rackets & Runners on a minimum CA$75 purchase, free parking on Granville Island until 1pm race day, gear check and pacers provided by RUNVAN, plus race results, a leaderboard and refreshments.
Package pickup is available race week only, Friday October 9 through Sunday October 11, at Rackets & Runners. Package pickup is not available on race day. Event capacity is limited because of the unique start and finish on Granville Island and is expected to reach capacity early.
The event notes savings on Jerome Classic entry when bundled with a spectator ticket to the World Athletics Continental Tour event at Swangard Stadium. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable under RUNVAN race policies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
