Granville Island Turkey Trot 2026
The annual Granville Island Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving Monday, October 12, 2026, on Granville Island in Vancouver, British Columbia. The event is organized by RUNVAN and connects the local running community with fundraising for regional food banks.
A Granville Island Turkey Trot 10 km race entry includes a race bib with timing chip, a race medal featuring new event icons, the option of an exclusive RUNVAN shirt or a Green Bib, a CA$25 discount at Rackets & Runners with a CA$75 minimum purchase, free parking on Granville Island until 1pm on race day, gear check and pacers provided by RUNVAN, race results and a leaderboard, plus refreshments.
Package pickup is available only during race week, Friday October 9 to Sunday October 11, at Rackets & Runners; pickup is not available on race day. Event capacity is limited because the start and finish are on Granville Island and the event may reach capacity early. The Run & Give program supports local food banks including Greater Vancouver Food Bank, Surrey Food Bank and SHARE Family and Community Services.
