Granville Island Turkey Trot
The Granville Island Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving running event held on Granville Island in Vancouver. The event offers a measured and marked 10KM course plus a separate kids run and is organized as a community fundraising event.

Participants may donate or fundraise for local food bank partners, including the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, Surrey Food Bank, and SHARE Family and Community Services. Race entries include a race bib with timing chip, a race medal, an option for an event shirt in limited quantity, a $25 discount at Rackets and Runners with minimum purchase, Lee's Donuts provided by the non-profit organizer, and official race results and leaderboards. Prizes are awarded for best costume and largest team.
Capacity limits for the event are set in collaboration with City of Vancouver stakeholders, and entries are non refundable and non transferable under RUNVAN race policies. The event is presented as a community tradition combining a 10KM run, a kids run, and fundraising for local food banks.
