Granville Island Turkey Trot 2026
The Granville Island Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Monday running event on Granville Island in Vancouver, BC, Canada held on October 12, 2026. The event supports local food banks through the Run & Give program and lists several beneficiary organizations in Greater Vancouver and Surrey. Fundraising associated with the event has raised CA$6,539.20.
The primary race offering is a 10KM distance. A standard race entry includes a race bib with timing chip, a commemorative medal with new event icons, the choice of an exclusive RUNVAN shirt or a green bib option, $25 off at Rackets & Runners with a minimum spend of $75, free parking on Granville Island until 1pm on race day, gear check, pacers provided by RUNVAN, race results and a leaderboard, and on-course refreshments.
Package pickup is available only during race week, Friday October 9 through Sunday October 11, at Rackets & Runners; package pickup is not available on race day. The event notes limited participant capacity because of the unique start and finish locations on Granville Island. There is an option to bundle a spectator ticket to the World Athletics Continental Tour event at Swangard Stadium for savings on Jerome Classic entry.
