Event details
The Granville Ambulance Chase is set for Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Historic Downtown Oxford, North Carolina. The event address is 100 Main Street, Oxford, NC 27565. Proceeds benefit the Granville Health System Foundation. The start line is on Main Street in front of the Courthouse and the finish line is on Little John Street. Course maps are available as a downloadable PDF. Main Street, Spring Street, High Street, and Littlejohn Street will have closures on the morning of the event for participant safety. The event is timed by Run The East, LLC.

Race day registration and packet pickup are handled at The Hub on Main, 100 Main Street. Early packet pickup is offered at Tobacco Wood Brewing Co., 117 Wall Street, Oxford. There will be no cash payments accepted for race day registrations; payments are by card.
A Food Truck Rodeo will operate during the event. Pets are not allowed on the race course but are permitted on a leash at the Food Truck Rodeo. Baby joggers, running strollers, and participants in wheelchairs are welcome; strollers are asked to start at the back. No skates, bicycles, roller blades, or skateboards are allowed on the course without prior approval.
Awards and discounts
T-shirts are provided to the first 350 registrants across the 5K, 10K, 5K Fun Run, and 1 Mile Family Walk. Trophies go to the top male and female overall in the 5K and 10K. Medals are given to the first 300 finishers in the 5K and 10K. Community groups of at least 10, students age 5-18, and military registrants receive discounts applied at checkout.
