Event overview
The AIMHigh-Keep Pressing 5K/10K takes place Saturday, May 2, 2026, in downtown Henderson, NC (236 West Montgomery Street, Henderson, NC 27536). The event began as a virtual 5K during the pandemic and has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering in-person and virtual options. The race weekend includes multiple event types:
- 5K in-person race, price listed as $25
- 10K in-person race, price listed as $35
- KIDS FUN RUN, price listed as $15
- Virtual 5K, price listed as $35
- Virtual 10K, price listed as $35
The 5K course has a new layout and the 10K consists of two loops of that course. Parking and vendor maps are provided by the organizer.
Registration, race kit and awards
Registration options include early and standard pricing and race day registration is available. Shirt size or color is not guaranteed for registrations after March 15. Each registered participant receives a race bib, a finisher's medal, a race t-shirt, and a swag bag.
Team registration is offered. The Keep Pressing Award is a $1,500 monetary award presented to the team, organization, or business with the most registered participants at the post-race awards ceremony. Competitive awards include overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K and top three male and female finishers in listed age groups.
