Little River Trail Runs : January 10, 2026
The Little River Trail Runs take place on January 10, 2026 at Little River Regional Park, 301 Little River Parkway, Rougemont, NC 27572. The event offers two distances run primarily on well-marked single track. The course will have race volunteers and three aid stations. All race proceeds are used to support and maintain the park and trail system.

Logistics and additional information
Entry fees are listed as $50 for the 10 mile and $45 for the 7k; organizers note they cannot guarantee a t-shirt but will try to provide one. The 7k route is flagged in blue and the 10 mile route is flagged in orange. A Friends of the Forest bundle provides a discount for registering for both Little River and the Philosopher's Way races. Bib and shirt pickup is scheduled for Friday, January 9 at Bull City Running (SoDu location, 202 W. NC 54, Durham). The events are open to ages 7 to 96. Sponsors named for 2026 include Bull City Running, Balanced Movement Studio, Brandwein's Bagels, Carrboro Coffee Roasters, Halchin Hives, Open Eye Cafe, Purple Bowl, Weaver Street Market, Zenith Coaching, and TrailHeads.org.
