Graniterock River Run
The Graniterock River Run is a family-friendly running event held on September 12, 2026 at the Southside Sand and Gravel Quarry, 5632 Airline Highway, Hollister, CA 95023. The event returns for its sixth year and includes a short untimed fun run and a 5K run or walk. The course goes inside an active sand and gravel quarry and passes the banks of the San Benito River. Participants will see quarry processing equipment and local natural surroundings while on the route.

Registration opens February 16, 2026 and closes August 1, 2026. Pricing is available for individuals and for family entries. Individual fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $30 for the 1 Mile fun run. Family pricing options are $55 for the 5K family registration and $50 for the 1 Mile family registration; family pricing applies to families or groups of four or more participants. Free parking is available at the race site. Proceeds from the event benefit the YMCA of San Benito County. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
