Event Overview
The Grange Coastal Run Green is a community running event held on March 8, 2026, at Grange Jetty Reserve in Grange, South Australia. It is described as a low-cost, low-key fun run along the Adelaide coastline.
Course and Distances
The event uses a newly AIMS-measured course that runs towards Henley Beach South. The route is a 7.033 km out-and-back loop. Participants can choose from three distances:
- 7 km
- 14 km (two loops)
- 21.1 km half marathon (three loops)
All distances start together. Runners on the longer distances will pass the aid station on each loop.
Registration and Participation
Registration closes at noon three days before the event date, with possible extensions. Early bird pricing is available. A virtual run option is also available, which must be completed on the event day, though virtual medals are not posted and require collection.
Every participant receives a finisher medal. For the 7 km event, first-place medals with green ribbons are offered for male and female categories. The event has a "RUN GREEN" theme, and a trophy is awarded to the runner or walker who best represents this theme. Part of the event's proceeds will be donated to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
All relevant event details are sent via email to registered participants in the week leading up to race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
