Event details
The Grand Slamrock is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Fredericksburg, VA (42 Jackie Robinson Way, 22401). The event is the 5th Annual Grand Slamrock and includes a USATF-certified, flat 5K course that finishes on the field inside the stadium. Dogs are not allowed; the 5K is stroller-friendly. Course maps and runner information sheets are provided for each distance.

Participant information and extras
Packet pickup is available on the days before the race at local stores and on race day inside the stadium. Custom finisher medals and race t-shirts are included. Overall and age-group awards are offered; the 5K has overall cash prizes for top finishers and age-group gift certificates. The top male and female in the 5K and the 1 Mile earn the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a FredNats baseball game; game tickets are included. A 50/50 raffle will benefit the FredNats Booster Club. A post-race Pure Barre class and a complimentary winery tasting for bib holders (ages 21+) are listed as additional participant activities.
