Event Overview
Grace's Place Rock the Block Race takes place at the Washington Fairgrounds in Washington, Missouri. The event raises funds for Grace's Place Emergency Shelter.
Race Format and Distances
The main race consists of completing laps on a 0.7-mile loop. Participants can choose from different event types:
- 6 Laps
- 12 Lap
- 24 Lap
- 2 Person Relay Run
- 4 Person Relay Run
- Whatever K Run/Walk, where participants can complete as many or as few laps as they wish.
For relay events, team members take turns running solo laps; they may not run at the same time.
Event Details
The event is hosted by Rockinator Racing. Participants receive a chipped bib for timing, and results are available instantly. Finish line photos are provided. On-course amenities include a hydration station, a snack shack, and two indoor restroom facilities. A route map of the loop at the fairgrounds is available. The venue has space for pop-up tents, chairs, and coolers.
Packet pickup begins at the fairgrounds. Medals are awarded to top finishers in each category. All participants registered by October 15, 2025, receive event swag. Prize baskets are awarded to the top three solo runners or teams who raise the most pledges for the shelter. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
