GR8FUL4LIFE 5K Run/Walk
GR8FUL4LIFE 5K Run/Walk is a fundraising event hosted by Open Heaven Musicfest, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on community outreach and partnerships with churches and local service agencies. The event is intended to combine a running and walking event with community fellowship and faith-inspirational music.
The course is located at Dorbrook Park Recreation Area in Colts Neck, New Jersey, and features all paved trails that provide a smooth route for participants. Distances offered include:
- 3.1 miles - GR8FUL4LIFE 5K Run
- 3.1 miles - GR8FUL4LIFE 5K Walk (the walk will not be timed; variable path routes may shorten the walk)
- 1 mile - GR8FUL4LIFE 1 Mile Walk
Registration opens on June 4. Early bird price is $30 plus processing fees; the price increases to $35 plus processing fees beginning August 1. Each registered participant receives a race bib and a t-shirt. Shirt size is not guaranteed for registrations made after August 25.
Packet pick-up is available on race morning starting at 7:30 am at the race venue. Awards are presented to the top three male and the top three female finishers in the timed race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
