GR8FUL4LIFE 5K Run/Walk : Dorbrook Park, Colts Neck, NJ
The GR8FUL4LIFE 5K Run/Walk is a fundraising event hosted by Open Heaven Musicfest, a 501c3 nonprofit that provides community outreach and coordinates with churches and local service agencies. The event takes place at Dorbrook Park - Recreation Area in Colts Neck, New Jersey, on a newly used location for this event.
The course follows paved trails through the park. Registered participants receive a race bib and a t-shirt. Shirt size will not be guaranteed for registrations made after August 25. Packet pick-up is available on the morning of the event at the venue.
Registration pricing is tiered: an early bird price of $30 plus processing fees and a higher fee of $35 plus processing fees from August 1 through race day. Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female finishers in the timed event.
Event options include a timed 5K run, a 5K walk and a separate 1 Mile walk. The 5K walk is not timed and includes variable path routes that can make the walk shorter than 3.1k. The event also features family-friendly programming and live faith-inspired music as part of the host organization’s outreach activities.
