Gourdy's Pumpkin Run: Columbus
Gourdy's Pumpkin Run in Columbus features a 5K (3.1 miles) through downtown and a festival-style finish at Genoa Park, 303 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215. The event is presented as a fall tradition that has run since 2012 and supports Girls on the Run.
Registration includes entry to the 5K, a 2026 lightweight tech hoodie, a finisher's medal, a commemorative race bib with chip timing, a cup of apple cider at the finish, and a small pumpkin to take home. An optional Tough Pumpkin add-on lets participants carry a pumpkin during the 5K; pumpkins are selected at packet pick-up and vary in size, and participants who complete the Tough Pumpkin receive an additional Tough Pumpkin medal as well as the regular finisher medal.
Teams can be created by the first person who registers; team members who sign up separately still receive a $5 savings on registration. Volunteer roles are available and include benefits such as a choice of a free race registration or a donation to Girls on the Run, an exclusive volunteer shirt and beanie, and light snacks during shifts.
