Event

Gourdy's Pumpkin Run: Columbus takes place on October 24, 2026, at Genoa Park in Columbus, Ohio. The event features a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk on a downtown Columbus course. Registrations support Girls on the Run.

Registration and extras

Standard registration includes entry to the 5K, a 2026 lightweight tech hoodie, a 2026 finisher's medal, a commemorative race bib with chip timing, a cup of apple cider at the finish, and a small pumpkin to take home. A Tough Pumpkin option is available during registration; participants choose a pumpkin at packet pick-up (sizes from a couple of pounds up to ten pounds) to carry during the 5K and receive an additional Tough Pumpkin medal along with the regular finisher medal.

Teams and volunteering

Teams can be created by the first person who registers; that person sets a team name and password so others can join. Each team member receives a $5 discount on registration, and members may sign up and pay individually. Volunteer shifts are offered with a choice of a free race registration or a donation to Girls on the Run, an exclusive volunteer shirt plus beanie, and light snacks during the shift.
