Great Pumpkin Run 5K - Grandview Heights

47th Annual Great Pumpkin Run 5K & Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot

The event is organized by Grandview Heights Parks & Recreation and takes place at Edison Intermediate / Larry Larson Middle School at 1242 Oakland Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. The program includes a timed 5K run and a Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot for young children. The 5K follows a closed road course that winds through the neighborhoods of Grandview Heights. The course is closed to vehicular traffic and includes a water station at approximately the halfway point and water at the finish. Bathroom facilities are available at the event site.

Packet pick up is scheduled the day before at the Parks and Recreation Department office at 1661 Goodale and on the event day inside the middle school commons. Parking is available in the lot off Fairview Avenue at 1272 Fairview Avenue; the Oakland Avenue parking lot will be closed. The Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot is free for children six and under; the first 100 youth registrants will receive an event shirt and a goody bag. Event shirts are provided for a limited number of participants and shirt size is guaranteed by October 5. The event operates rain or shine. Proceeds support Grandview Heights recreational and educational programs and services for the community.
