Great Pumpkin Run 5K & Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot, Grandview Heights
The event takes place on October 24, 2026 at Edison Intermediate / Larry Larson Middle School, 1242 Oakland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. It is sponsored and hosted by Grandview Heights Parks & Recreation and supports the city’s recreational and educational programs.
Two event options are offered:
- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles), timed, closed road course through the neighborhoods of Grandview Heights
- Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot, free for children ages 6 and under
The Tiny Tot fun run awards an event shirt and goody bag to the first 100 youth who register. Up to 450 participants in total will receive an official event shirt; a shirt size guarantee date is provided by the organizer.
Packet pick up is scheduled the day before at the Parks and Recreation Department office at 1661 Goodale and on the event day inside the middle school commons. Parking is available in the lot off Fairview Avenue; the Oakland Avenue parking lot will be closed. The 5K course is closed to vehicular traffic and includes an approximately halfway water station and water at the finish. Restroom facilities will be available at the event site.
