Great Pumpkin Run 5K - Grandview Heights
The Great Pumpkin Run is an annual community event hosted by Grandview Heights Parks and Recreation on October 24, 2026 at Edison Intermediate / Larry Larson Middle School in Columbus, Ohio. The event features a timed 5K run/walk along a closed road course that winds through the neighborhoods of Grandview Heights. A water station is located at approximately the halfway point of the 5K and water is available at the finish. Bathroom facilities are available at the event site.
A separate Tiny Tot Pumpkin Trot is offered free for children six and under and takes place before the 5K. The first youth registrants will receive an event shirt and a goody bag. Event shirts are available for a limited number of registrants and shirt size is guaranteed only for registrations completed by October 5.
Packet pick up occurs the day before at the Parks and Recreation Department office and on the event day inside the middle school commons. Parking is available in the lot off Fairview Avenue; the Oakland Avenue parking lot will be closed for this edition. The event is rain or shine.
