Event overview
The 48th Goshen Turkey Trot is a 10K run/walk held on November 27, 2025, at the Goshen Fairgrounds, 116 Old Middle St, Goshen, CT. The event is scheduled to proceed rain, snow or shine. Online registration is closed.
Course
The course starts and finishes at the Goshen Fairgrounds and follows local roads including Lyman Lane, West Street, Ives Road, Beach Street and Camp Cochipianee Road. The route includes a combination of dirt roads and asphalt and is described as hilly.
Logistics and amenities
Parking is available at the Goshen Fairgrounds on Route 63. Early packet pickup is offered Tuesday 3:00 - 7:00 pm and Wednesday 2:00 - 6:00 pm at Sportsmens, 725 Bantam Rd (Rte. 202), Bantam, CT 06750. Race-day bib and shirt pickup is available the morning of the event from 7:30 to 8:30 AM. Long-sleeve technical T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 400 registered; vintage T-shirts will be available for sale on race day.
Awards and results
Awards include the Laschever Memorial Cup for 1st male and female, top three overall finishers male and female, and a turkey award for the first Goshen resident male and female (eligible for other awards). Ribbons and pies are given to the top three in each age division: 10 & under; 11-14; 15-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+.
