Gosh Darn Goddard 5k & 10k
Gosh Darn Goddard is a multi-distance running event held at Goddard State Park in Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania. The course is an out and back on the park bike trail. The event is the sixth race in the Miles of Smiles series. A DJ will provide music and the national anthem will be performed.
Distances offered:
- 5K run or walk
- 5K walkers division (walk only)
- 10K
- 5K virtual with time submission
Registration opens January 29, 2026 and closes June 15, 2026. Published entry fees are $25 for 5K entries and $30 for the 10K. A newly designed event shirt is produced for 2026.
Awards and finishers items include prize money for overall male and female 10K winners, trophies and medals for age groups, and homemade wooden finisher medals for all 10K finishers. Specific awards listed by the organizer include top two places in several 5K and 10K age groups, medals for second place, and top three for 5K walkers. Raffle prizes are also listed.
Food will be provided to participants and includes hot dogs, BBQ sandwiches, pasta salad, fruit salad, and cookies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
