Gosh Darn Goddard 5k & 10k
This event takes place on July 26, 2026 at Goddard State Park in Sandy Lake, PA (1245 Creek Rd, 16145). It offers multiple participation options on an out and back course that follows the park bike trail. A DJ will provide music and the national anthem near the event area.

- 5 km run or walk
- 5 km walkers division (walk only)
- 10 km run
- 5 km virtual
Registration opens January 29, 2026 and closes June 15, 2026. Entry fees listed for the on site events are $25 for 5 km entries and $30 for the 10 km; the virtual 5 km fee is $25. The virtual 5 km allows participants to submit their time through the event results system.
Awards and prizes include prize money for the overall male and female 10 km winners, age group awards for the 5 km run and 10 km run, and top walker awards for the 5 km walk. Age groups for the 5 km run and the 10 km run are 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus, with the top two finishers in each group recognized. The 5 km walk recognizes the top three male and female walkers. All 10 km finishers receive homemade wooden finisher medals. Food will be provided free to runners and raffle prizes will be offered.
