Swift Sailors Twin Cities Bubble Run 5k & 1/2-Mile Kids Fun Run
The event on July 12, 2026 links Stoneboro Memorial Park and Sandy Lake Park with a community 5k run/walk and a kids fun run. The course begins in Stoneboro Park, passes through bubble zones, and finishes at Sandy Lake Park where a community celebration follows.

Logistics note that participants can be dropped off at Stoneboro Park or use a shuttle from Sandy Lake Park to the starting area, with shuttle service provided by a transportation company. Packet pickup and late registration are available the day of the event at pavilions in Stoneboro Park and Sandy Lake Park. The kids run is part of the community celebration at Sandy Lake Park, which will include bubbles, dancing, and a DJ immediately following the 5k.
Fees and awards are published for each event. The 5k has tiered pricing with a lower rate and guaranteed shirt for registrations received by June 22, 2026, and a higher rate after that date; a school cross country discount is offered. The kids run has options with or without a shirt. Age group and overall awards are given to top three men and women in the 5k; finisher awards are provided to all kids in the 1/2 mile run.
Proceeds benefit the Swift Sailors Elementary Cross Country Program and will support race entries, running shoes, snacks, team shirts, and end of season activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
