Goose Fair Gallop 10k
The Goose Fair Gallop is an annual 10k running event held each autumn in Nottinghamshire, organized by Kimberley & District Striders since 1987. The race features a mostly flat course with varied terrain including canal paths, gravel, trails, and pavement. Runners enjoy scenic views of the historic Bennerley Viaduct, Erewash Canal, and surrounding countryside.
The route starts near Harworth Estates off the A610 and passes landmarks such as Moorgreen Colts Football Club and the Winston Wind Turbine. Limited to 350 participants, the event offers a friendly atmosphere with supportive marshals, race swag including a technical t-shirt, and a race village.
