The Sherwood New Year 10k, 5k & Junior Run takes place on 18 January 2026 at Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, Mansfield, Nottingham, NG21 9JL. The event is organised by Nice Work and is an in-person race on multi-terrain, undulating forest trails in Sherwood Forest. Route maps, including GPX files, are available for download.

Entries, prices and eligibility
Advance entry prices are listed from £7 to £25 depending on the event. On-the-day entry fees (subject to availability) are listed as: 10k £30, 5k £25, Junior Run £7. The 10k is open to entrants aged 15 and over on 18/01/2026. The 5k is open to entrants aged 11 and over on 18/01/2026.
What is included and prizes
Entrants receive a bespoke medal and free photographs. Trophies and prizes are available for leading runners.
Transport and facilities
Parking at the event is included in the ticket cost. Public transport options include bus routes 14 and 15 from Mansfield bus station, with services approximately every half hour Monday to Saturday and hourly on Sundays. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
