Leicestershire Half Marathon - 28 February 2027
The Leicestershire Half Marathon on 28 February 2027 is a road-closed race through the Leicestershire countryside. The route starts at Charnwood College in Loughborough and passes through Shepshed, Belton and Hathern on an undulating course that favors steady pacing.
The course surface is mainly tarmac with some grass sections. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags, and marshals and clear signage guide runners around the route. The event includes chip-timed results, free official race photos, a unique themed medal and post-race goodies. An event village near the finish offers food and drink options along with additional freebies from partners.
Entry pricing increases in stages: Super Early Bird entry ends 15th March, Early Bird entry ends 30th August, Standard entry closes 24th January 2027, and Last Minute entry may be available until race day subject to availability.
