Event overview
The Nottingham Winter Warmer Run at Victoria Embankment, The Meadows Recreation Ground (NG2 2LA) includes races over these distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half marathon
The course is mostly on paths with a small road crossing and a bridge crossing. The 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps, and the half marathon includes an initial 1.1 km loop followed by four full 5k laps. The event uses chip-on-bib timing with instant results displayed via ResultsBase. Participants receive a medal, and drinks and snacks are provided at the finish.
Logistics, entries and charity
Race packs are collected on the morning of the event. The event hub is located in front of the Memorial Gardens overlooking the river; toilets, limited bag storage, and on-site refreshments are available. Access to the Meadow's Recreation Ground car park is via the corner of Felton Road and Green Street. Entries shown include £25 for the 5k and 10k and £30 for the half marathon; entry prices increase on 2 January 2026 and entries close on 14 February 2026 unless sold out. The event supports the charity Shelter; fundraising is optional and has no minimum target. Marshals will be on course and participants are asked to keep to the left unless otherwise guided.
