The Goose Bumps 6 and 24 Hour Run/Walk is a fundraiser hosted by the River City Running Club held at Goose Island Campground & Park in Stoddard, Wisconsin. The event is presented as 100% non-profit with 100% community impact.
Participants may choose between timed formats of six hours or twenty four hours. Within each timeframe, entrants may walk or run as much or as little as they prefer and set personal goals. The event offers a looped course option; participants can complete a single loop, aim for standard race distances, or pursue longer totals over the timed period.
Examples of participant outcomes include more than 40 miles logged during the six hour event and efforts exceeding 100 miles during the twenty four hour event. Those examples illustrate the range of possible results when participants set individual targets.
