City Run – GoodRunnings
The City Run starts and finishes at Karrawirra and follows a 5 km loop along the River Torrens, passing several noted Adelaide sites. A full loop measures 5 km; distances under 5 km use a shortened loop and distances over 5 km are covered by multiple loops.

There is one aid station located at the start/finish of each loop and therefore encountered approximately every 5 km. The aid station supplies lollies (vegan and standard), water, sports drink, cola, ginger ale, baked goods, and first aid. A runners table allows competitors to add special preferences and to leave a cup to reduce waste. A bag drop is available at the aid station.
Bib collection is available on race day and opens shortly before the first wave. Race briefings occur before each wave; simplified English briefings are provided in scheduled sessions for participants who prefer slower, clearer explanations and more one-on-one contact. Early and late start options are available under the organiser’s conditions.
Medal policy, podium rules, and prize details are published by the organiser. The event makes set donations to local causes, including funds to Northern Adelaide domestic violence services and Guide Dogs SA/NT, with specified amounts per registration and a cap on one donation stream. The course map may be changed due to footpath closures. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
