Good Neighbor Days - Washington, Illinois
Good Neighbor Days is a community race event presented by Uftring Washington and organized in partnership with the Washington Park District. The program includes a 5K, a 1 Mile Run/Walk, and timed or untimed kids fun runs at the 5K finish area near the Central School Bus Barn. Timing and scoring are provided by ShaZam Racing.
All 5K and 1 Mile race entries include a post-race pancake breakfast. Packet pickup is available at Five Points Washington on the day before the event and on race day at Five Points Washington. Course maps are provided for both the 5K and the 1 Mile routes.
Registration for the 5K and the 1 Mile is fee based with early and later price tiers. Listed fees include:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- Kids Fun Runs (50 meters, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile by age)
Kids Fun Runs are organized by age: ages 8 through 10 run or walk a half mile; ages 6 and 7 run or walk a quarter mile; ages 5 and under run or walk 50 meters. Parents may run or walk with children up to age five. Awards for the 5K include overall top three males and females and age group awards for top two males and females in standard age bands.
