Good Neighbor Days Run
The Good Neighbor Days Run is a community event in Washington, Illinois. The event is presented by Uftring Washington. The races start and finish near Five Points Washington, located at 360 N Wilmor Road.
The event offers several race options:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- Kids' Fun Runs (untimed, for ages 1-10)
Participants in the 5K and 1 Mile races receive a free post-race pancake breakfast. The event takes place rain or shine. Professional timing is provided by ShaZam Racing.
Awards are given for the 5K and 1 Mile races. For the 5K, overall awards go to the top three male and female finishers. Age group awards are given to the top two males and females in multiple categories. For the 1 Mile, overall awards go to the top three male and female finishers.
Kids' Fun Runs are for children aged 1-10 and feature different distances based on age: a ½ mile for ages 8-10, a ¼ mile for ages 6-7, and a 50-meter dash for ages 5 and under. Parents may run with children aged 5 and under. The Kids' Races gather near the finish line area.
Packet pickup is available on the day before the race at Five Points Washington and on race morning at the same location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
