Good Life Race overview

The Good Life Race takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Oak Park and River Forest High School, 201 N Scoville Ave, Oak Park, IL. The event received the CARA Race of the Year award in 2024. A future edition is scheduled for April 25, 2027.

Youth Mile (open to ages 12 and under)
Junior Dash (open to ages 6 and under)

The 5K, Youth Mile, and Junior Dash use flat, fast road courses. The 5K and Youth Mile courses are USATF certified and thus precisely measured. All 5K and Youth Mile participants receive a tri-blend t-shirt.

Entertainment at the event includes the Oak Park and River Forest High School drumline, the Gwendolyn Brooks Middle School band, and the Jesse White Tumblers.
