Barley's Broken Rail Relay
The 5th Annual Barley's Broken Rail Relay is scheduled for Saturday, August 8. Presented by On, the event follows a Ragnar-style relay format running from North London to Broken Rail Brewery in St. Mary’s.
Teams of four share the course, which includes both trail and road sections. While one teammate runs a leg, the others drive to the next transition point to provide logistical support such as hydration, snacks, music and cheering for the runner on course.
The finish is at Broken Rail Brewery, where participants can gather with cold beer and food available on site. The event combines a multi-leg relay experience with a social finish at the brewery.
All proceeds from the relay are directed to Ronald McDonald House Charities to support families with seriously ill children during treatment. Registration is listed as coming soon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
