Barley's Broken Rail Relay
Barley's Broken Rail Relay is a team-based relay race that travels from North London to the finish line at Broken Rail Brewery in St. Mary’s. Now in its 5th annual edition, the event follows a "Ragnar" style format, focusing on group participation and point-to-point travel.
Participants compete in teams of four runners. The course features a combination of trails and roads. The relay structure requires one teammate to run a specific leg while the other three members drive to the next designated transition point to wait, refuel, and provide support.
The race concludes with a celebration at the Broken Rail Brewery involving food and beverages. All proceeds from the event are donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities to support families with seriously ill children. This event emphasizes team camaraderie and community giving through a dynamic multi-terrain course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
