Goleta Beach Triathlon

The event takes place at Goleta Beach Park in Santa Barbara County, at 5986 Sandspit Road, Goleta, CA 93117. The venue uses a protected cove for the swim and dedicated paved paths for the bike and run courses.

Swim segments take place in calm ocean water inside the protected cove. The bike course follows a dedicated asphalt bike path heading toward Santa Barbara and back. The run course is on a dedicated bike path and is described as spectator friendly.

Distances for the organized races include:

Sprint Triathlon: 400 meter swim, 6 mile bike, 2.5 mile run.
Parent-Child Triathlon: 100 meter swim, 3 mile bike, 1.25 mile run.
Sprint Aquabike: 400 meter swim, 6 mile bike.
