The marathon course has one hill, but all other courses are flat. All courses are USATF certified, and the marathon is a Boston qualifier. On-site parking is available at the start/finish area at Tulsa River West Festival Park, which is located within three miles of downtown Tulsa.
All participants receive a technical shirt and a custom finisher medal featuring the Golden Driller statue, the Tulsa icon for which the race is named. The event is described as having a small size and a friendly atmosphere. Post-race food and beer are provided for participants aged 21 and over.
The marathon has a 7.5-hour time limit, and the half marathon has a 4-hour time limit. The finish line closes at 2:30 PM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
