About the race
The ASICS Gold Coast Marathon is a multi-distance road running event held along the Gold Coast coastline and Broadwater. The course is described as flat, fast and scenic, running alongside surf beaches and the Broadwater; organisers report that 60% of participants achieve a personal best each year and the course is used by athletes pursuing Boston Marathon qualification.

- 21 km half marathon
- 10 km Southern Cross University run
- 5 km run
- Wheelchair marathon
- 2 km Junior Dash
Event services and access: race numbers are collected from the Check in Centre inside the ASICS Sport & Leisure Expo at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Broadbeach. Official merchandise is available at the expo. Transport guidance is provided for driving, parking, buses, trams, drop-offs and walking; attendees are advised to plan travel and arrive early.
Digital features include a dedicated event app for runner tracking, live streams and results, plus finish-line cameras and published event guides and results. Spectator zones line the course from Runaway Bay to Miami. A charity places program requires applicants to raise at least $2,000 for their chosen charity.
