Gods Own BYU Fall
Gods Own BYU Fall is a backyard ultra held at Hunters Greave, Pollard Lane, Hawksworth, Leeds LS5 3BF on 14 November 2026. Competitors run a single loop of 4.167 miles each hour. Each hour the bell sounds to mark the start; runners must complete the loop within the hour to be eligible for the next start. Runners who fail to return to the start area before the bell are recorded as DNF. The event continues until one runner completes a loop alone and is declared the champion.
The course is a mixture of canal towpath, farmland trail, woodland trail and tarmac paths. The day course has elevation gain on each loop. A separate night loop avoids crossing the canal and uses a tarmac canal towpath. The route will be fully waymarked and marshalled.
On-site facilities listed by the organiser include hot and cold water, fruit and sweets, camping, toilets and first aid cover. A bespoke Yorkshire goodie bag is provided for all participants. Limited campervan space must be pre-arranged; camping and parking are available at the venue. The nearest convenient rail access is Kirkstall Forge, a short walk from the venue.
