About the race
Gods Own Backyard Ultra Fall 2025 takes place at Hunters Greave, Pollard Lane, Hawksworth, Leeds LS5 3BF. The event follows the Backyard Ultra format: competitors run a 4.167-mile loop, with departures at hourly intervals; finish each loop to advance to the next, otherwise it’s a DNF. The day-course mixes canal towpath, farmland and woodland, with some elevation and a night loop to aid safety.
It’s waymarked, chip-timed, with on-site camping, water, fruit and sweets, and a Goodie Bag for all entrants. This Bronze-affiliated event offers a path toward the BYU Championship, with the champion being the last runner to complete a loop. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
