God's Own Back Yard Ultra Spring

God's Own Back Yard Ultra - Spring 2025 is an endurance running event held at Hunters Greave, Hawksworth, Leeds. Participants run a 4.167-mile loop every hour on the hour, needing to complete each loop within the hour to continue. The course features a mix of canal towpath, farmland, woodland trails, and tarmac paths with some elevation gain, including a night route on tarmac to avoid canal crossings in the dark.

The last runner to complete a loop alone is declared the champion. The event offers camping, aid stations with hot and cold drinks, fruit, sweets, and a Yorkshire goodie bag for all runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
