Event

The G.O.A.T. 5K is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, at The Goatery at Kiawah River in Johns Island, South Carolina (3883 Betsy Kerrison Parkway). The event is the sixth annual running of this trail race and uses trails on the Kiawah River property. The race is chip-timed and the organizer states the event is 100% eco-friendly.

Logistics and awards

Packet pickup is available Friday, April 24 (10:00 am - 6:00 pm) at Blue Sky Endurance, 624 Coleman Blvd, Mount Pleasant, and there is race-day packet pickup on site. Parking is at 3883 Betsy Kerrison Parkway; after entering the driveway attendees follow the road about 1.5 miles to parking attendants. Carpooling is encouraged. Strollers must be all-terrain and are asked to start at the back. Walkers are permitted. Dogs are requested to be left at home because they can disturb on-site donkeys.

Registration for the main 5K is listed at $45. The kids entry (10 and under) is listed as free. Registration includes a race trucker hat; finishers receive a farm-fresh plant in place of medals.
