The G.O.A.T. 5K is a trail race held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at The Goatery at Kiawah River in Johns Island, South Carolina. It is the sixth annual running of this event on the Kiawah River property, which spans more than 2,000 acres. The race starts and finishes at The Goatery near baby goats. The event list includes:

The 5K is chip-timed and the course is a natural trail through scenic areas of Kiawah River. Walkers are permitted. All-terrain strollers are required for stroller use and strollers are asked to start at the back. Dogs are not permitted.
Logistics and awards
The race location is The Goatery at Kiawah River, 3883 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Johns Island, SC 29455. Parking requires driving into the Kiawah River driveway and following the road for about 1.5 miles to parking attendants; carpooling is encouraged. Packet pickup is available the day before at Blue Sky Endurance in Mount Pleasant and there is race day packet pickup on site. Registration lists a fee of $45 for the 5K; the kids 5K shows no fee.
All finishers receive a race trucker hat and a farm-fresh plant in lieu of a medal. Overall and age-group awards include farm produce and goods. The 2026 beneficiary is to be determined. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
