GNOCA 5K Run/Walk
The GNOCA 5K run/walk offers an in-person 5K that starts and finishes at Michael's Harborside in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Free parking is available at Michael's Harborside. A virtual 5K option lets participants complete the distance on a personal route between Sunday, September 20, and Sunday, October 3, 2026.
Pre-registration opened on March 23, 2026. In-person registration closes on September 26, 2026, and virtual registration closes on September 27, 2026. Fees are listed by category: adult pre-registration is $35 (adult race-day registration is $40), ages 12-17 pay $15, and children under 12 enter free.
Logistics on race day include check-in and day-of registration at the event site. Bib pick-up is available the day before at Marathon Sports, 27 Water Street in Newburyport, or on the morning of the event at Michael's Harborside. Marathon Sports offers a 20% discount on full-priced items to pre-registrants on the store pick-up day, excluding electronics. The event uses bib chip timing, with presentation of runner prizes and awards shortly after the finish.
This annual community event raises funds for GNOCA to provide support and assistance to local women living with ovarian cancer and their families, and to contribute to research, education, and awareness.
