Glowing in the Streets 5K
Glowing in the Streets 5K takes place on July 10 in MidTown Reno, with start and finish at Inclined Burgers and Brews. The route runs through the MidTown neighborhood near 760 S. Virginia St, Reno, NV 89502. The event is presented as the first edition of this evening glow run.
The event is a 5K route around MidTown. All ages are welcome. Runners are encouraged to wear neon, glow sticks, LED lights and other glowing items. Each participant will receive a custom 3D printed medal produced at the MidTown Welcome Center. At the finish line runners are offered a beer from Inclined Burgers.
Glow parties will take place at multiple spots around MidTown to cheer on runners and create a festive atmosphere; a map of glow party locations is noted as coming soon. Registration opens May 1 and closes May 30, with a registration fee of $35. Sponsors listed for the event include Orange Theory NW Reno and Renewal by Andersen.
