Glow & Go: A Halloween Visibility Run
The event is presented by Marathon Sports in collaboration with GoFluo and takes place at Marathon Sports Boston, 671 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. It is a Halloween costume run focused on visibility and safety for running after dark.
GoFluo provides high visibility and reflective gear designed to make runners stand out when the sun goes down. Participants leave from the store for a social group run and then return to the store for Halloween festivities and a costume contest. Costumes should be comfortable and safe enough to run in.
The program includes a costume contest with awards for Scariest Costume, Most Creative Costume, Best Group Costume, Best Running Themed Costume, Brightest in the Night, and Best Overall Costume. The event duration is 1 hour 30 minutes and it is conducted in person. All paces are welcome and costumes are encouraged.
The description emphasizes community running, nighttime visibility, and creative costumes while combining a short group run with in store activities and prize categories that reward creativity and visibility. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
