The Glentress Trail Race is scheduled for Sunday 15th February 2026 (to be confirmed) at Glentress Peel Visitor Centre, near Peebles, EH45 8NB. Distances offered:

- 10 km
- 5 km
The venue is in Glentress Forest, between Peebles and Innerleithen and about one hour from Edinburgh. Entries open Monday 17th November. The event is held alongside the Glentress 42k Trail Marathon.
Courses and logistics
All routes start from the Glentress Peel Visitor Centre trailhead and will be fully marked. The 21k route includes about 633 m total ascent and reaches a high point of 572 m; terrain includes forest singletrack, open moorland and sections of Tower Trail and blue, red and black mountain bike trails. The 10k route includes about 270 m ascent and a high point of 508 m; it uses woodland singletrack, forest roads and sections of blue and red MTB trails. The new 5k route uses the Multi-User, Ponds and Glen Trails; no prizes will be offered for this distance but finishers receive a medal, time and position.
Practical details: an ANPR car park operates at Glentress with tiered charges. Registration is based at the Glentress Peel café and race numbers must be collected in person with personal ID. Mandatory kit is required for 21k participants. Hydration stations: two on the 21k and one on the 10k; no cups will be provided, so participants should carry their own drink containers. Time limits: 21k - 5 hours; 10k - 3 hours. A partial refund policy applies up to six weeks before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
