Glens Falls Hospital Aloha Family 5k and 1 Mile Fun Walk
This event takes place at Haviland's Cove Park in Glens Falls and runs along the historic Feeder Canal with a return on the Pruyn Island trail along the Hudson River. The course is off-street and accompanied by beach-style music and a Hawaiian theme; participants may wear Hawaiian-themed attire. The 5K is chip-timed and uses flat, level paved roads and hard-packed gravel.
The event is family-focused and open to all ages; children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Jogging strollers are permitted and no dogs are allowed on the course. Awards are given to the overall top three male and female 5K finishers, and all children 12 and under receive a participation or finishers medal. Race timing is provided by Underdog Racing.
Registration is available in advance and as walk-up the day of the event with a higher fee. Race shirts are guaranteed for 5K registrants who register by May 15, 2026; shirts are not guaranteed for later registrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
