Glenelg Classic
The Glenelg Classic starts and finishes at Wigley Reserve in Glenelg and follows a coastal course that loops around Patawolonga Creek. The course for the 10 km extends further along the coastal trail before returning to Wigley Reserve.
The event includes multiple race features: finisher medals, electronic timing with certificates, optional finish line result SMS, overall trophies, age category awards, prize money for SARRC members, drink stations, first aid, finish line and post event facilities, and official event photography available for download. A free kids fun run for under 12s (290 m) is part of the program.
Entry fees for the 2026 event are listed per distance, with the general fee ranges at $40–$50 for the 5 km, $60–$70 for the 10 km, and a medal engraving option for $9. Members receive a 20% discount off general fees and eligible youth entries receive a 10% discount. Prize money is awarded to the top three SARRC members in each gender and distance.
Bib collection is organised at RunDNA, 20 Manton St, Hindmarsh, and on race morning at Wigley Reserve. The event is scheduled for Sunday 15 November 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
