Trestle Tap 9K

The Trestle Tap 9K is an annual point to point running race held on August 28, 2027. The course covers 9K from Woodward to Madrid across the High Trestle Trail Bridge. Runners start near Whistlin' Donkey in Woodward and finish at Flat Tire Lounge in Madrid.

The event includes a finish line celebration with cold beers provided by two local breweries and distribution of custom race gear. Shuttles will return athletes from Flat Tire Lounge to Whistlin' Donkey after the race. The race direction alternates each year, offering a different experience on the route.

Registration fee is $30. Packet pickup is scheduled at Fitness Sports-Ames (410 5th St) on Thursday 8/27 from 12:00 to 17:30, at Fitness Sports-Ankeny (604 SW 3rd St) on Friday 8/28 from 12:00 to 17:30, and a final pickup near Whistlin' Donkey on Saturday evening from 17:00 to 18:00.
