Trestle Tap 9K
The Trestle Tap 9K is an annual point-to-point running race held on August 29, 2026, between Madrid and Woodward, Iowa. The course crosses the High Trestle Trail Bridge and covers 9K.
The event starts near Flat Tire Lounge at 304 S. Madison St in Madrid and finishes at Whistlin' Donkey in Woodward. The finish area includes beer provided by two local breweries, custom race gear, and a post-race gathering.
The race reverses direction each year, giving alternating start and finish locations in different editions. Shuttle buses return athletes from Whistlin' Donkey to Flat Tire Lounge after the race; due to the 210 Bridge closure there may be about a half-hour wait between shuttles.
