Girls on the Run Western Colorado : Frisco 5K
The Girls on the Run Western Colorado Frisco 5K is a season-closing celebratory event held on October 24, 2026 at Summit Middle School in Frisco, Colorado. The course is 3.1 miles and the event is presented as a noncompetitive celebration where participants may walk, run, roll, push, or skip at their own pace.
All registered participants who complete the 5K receive a commemorative medal and GOTR Western Colorado swag. The event includes a celebration village with booths and a merchandise tent. Family, friends and community members may take part but must register separately. All registrations include a liability waiver.
Registration pricing is tiered: early bird rates apply from August 19 to September 30, standard online pricing applies from October 1 to October 21, and a day-of registration price is available. Program participants and coaches are pre-registered and do not need to register again.
Safety and accessibility measures are in place: every participant must wear a race bib, each participant has a running buddy, course monitoring and head counts are conducted, and staff and volunteers follow a safety plan.
