Northern Colorado 5K Celebration
This end-of-season Girls on the Run event is a celebratory 5K (3.1 miles) that gives program participants a tangible sense of accomplishment and builds confidence through completion. The event takes place on November 1, 2026 at Spring Canyon Park in Fort Collins, Colorado.
All Girls on the Run participants receive a commemorative medal. Program participants and coaches are already registered for the 5K and do not need to complete additional registration. Participant bibs are distributed by coaches at team signs on race day. Non-program family members and community participants may join but must register; listed fees are Online $31.99 including fees and Race Day $38.35.
The event includes cheer card stations, happy hair stations and other season-closing activities. The 5K is presented as a noncompetitive, celebratory experience; fastest participants may finish around 25 minutes while most finish between 30 and 50 minutes, and everyone is encouraged to walk, run, roll, push or skip at their own pace.
Safety and accessibility measures are in place: every runner must wear a race bib, participants are supported by adults such as coaches or family members, courses are closed to traffic, and staff and volunteers are on course.
