Bell Ringer 2 Miler
The Bell Ringer 2 Miler is a community running event held at North Lake Park in Loveland, Colorado. The race is designed to honor the veteran community by mimicking local traditions, such as the practice of ringing bells throughout the town on Veteran’s Day. Proceeds from the event support Post 2000, which manages a Veteran's Assistance program in Loveland.
Participants can choose from different formats for participation:
- 2 Miles footrace
- 2 Miles Ruck Division
- 2 Miles Virtual race
The Ruck Division requires participants to carry a pack with a dry weight of 20 lbs. These packs are weighed by organizers during the registration process on the day of the event. While the primary race takes place at North Lake Park, a virtual option is also available for those who wish to participate remotely. The event focuses on family engagement and upholding regional traditions established to recognize the service of veterans in the United States.
