5K Celebration
The Girls on the Run Northeast Wisconsin 5K is an end-of-season, non-competitive celebratory run that gives program participants a tangible sense of accomplishment. The event is held on Nov. 7, 2026 at Ariens Nordic Center, 1111 Round Lake Road, Brillion, WI.
The 5K course is 3.1 miles and is open to the public; program participants and coaches are already signed up and do not need to register. Registered program participants who complete the course receive a medal. Additional running buddies and community participants receive a commemorative 5K item and all participants are offered finish line refreshments. Registration fees vary by date: Early Bird $25 (Sept 1 - Sept 30), General $30 (Oct 1 - Nov 4), Day of $35 (Nov 7). All registrations include a liability waiver.
Event details note one water stop on the course and designated accessible parking. Pets are not allowed; service animals must be properly identified. Safety measures include required race bibs, assignment of a running buddy for participants, course monitoring, head counts, and a safety plan for staff and volunteers. Volunteers support set up, registration, course marshalling, water stations and cheer stations; volunteers appointed through the council undergo a background check.
