Appleton Houdini 10K
The Appleton Houdini 10K is a road race in Appleton, Wisconsin that celebrates the city's connection to Harry Houdini. The course runs on local routes including the Newberry Trail and the Appleton Locks, with a start at Houdini Plaza and a finish in Jones Park. Magicians will be strolling at the event, and post-race food and beverage service includes beer from Copper State Brewing Co. for participants 21 and older.
Race details and amenities
The event uses chip timing and provides a participant shirt and a finisher medal. Finish line food is available and water stops are located at about 2.25 miles and 4.25 miles. Toilets are placed at the start area, at each water stop, and at the finish. Strollers are welcome on the course.
Awards are given to the overall male and female winners and to the top three finishers in each listed age group; awards may be claimed at the Race Hub table after the event or picked up at Run Away Shoes the following week. A virtual option is offered; virtual participants receive the commemorative shirt and medal and goody bag, are not scored, and are not eligible for awards.
