Overview
The YMCA Freaky 5K & Mini Monster Dash takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026 in Appleton, Wisconsin. The event is based at Pierce Park, 1000 W. Prospect Ave., along the shores of the Fox River. Registration for the event opens March 6, 2026 at 12:00am CST. A virtual Adult/Youth 5K option is offered.

Entry, packet pickup and prizes
Group and family pricing is available. Published entry fees include $25 for the adult 5K, $20 for the youth 5K, $15 for the Mini Monster Dash, and $30 for the virtual 5K. Participants who register before October 13 receive a race T-shirt. All participants receive a custom finisher medal, chip timing, and refreshments. Packet pickup is listed Friday, Oct. 24 at the Appleton YMCA (3-5 pm) and Saturday, Oct. 25 at Pierce Park (6:30-8:30 am).

A costume contest is scheduled following the 5K run/walk with awards in Adult, Group, and Child categories. Awards are also presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to winners in the listed age groups: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
