About the race
Girls on the Run Michiana presents the South Bend 5K Celebration, a season-closing event titled South Bend 5K Celebration presented by the South Bend Clinic. It takes place on May 16, 2026 at Potawatomi Park, corner of Greenlawn and Wall Street, South Bend, IN. The event closes the season with a celebratory *5K* that is intended to give program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Registration follows tiered pricing with age categories.
Early bird pricing through April 5 includes a guaranteed shirt and costs $15 for participants 12 and under and $25 for participants 13 and up. General online registration from April 6 to May 15 costs $20 for 12 and under and $30 for 13 and up. Day of registration in person is $25 for 12 and under and $35 for 13 and up.
The 5K registration fee operates on a pay-what-you-can model; registrants may select a lower fee on the final registration page using the Additional Adjustments box. Program participants and coaches have already been registered and do not need to register. A course map is available and a village map is noted as coming soon.
