South Bend 5K Celebration
The South Bend 5K Celebration presented by the South Bend Clinic is the closing event for the Girls on the Run Michiana season. It takes place on May 16, 2026 at Potawatomi Park, located at the corner of Greenlawn and Wall Street in South Bend, IN. The event is organized as a 5K distance and aims to provide program participants a tangible sense of accomplishment at season end.
Registration is offered in timed pricing tiers. Through April 5 the early bird rate is $15 for ages 12 and under and $25 for ages 13 and up. From April 6 through May 15 the general online rate is $20 for ages 12 and under and $30 for ages 13 and up. Day of registration in person is $25 for ages 12 and under and $35 for ages 13 and up. The 5K registration fee follows a pay-what-you-can model, and an Additional Adjustments option is available on the final registration page to select a lower fee if needed.
Program participants and coaches have already been registered for the 5K and do not need to register. Course and event village maps are provided for the event layout. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
